All teachers are invited to an open house Tuesday, May 6, from 3-5 p.m. at the Des Plaines History Center, 781 Pearson Street, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. The event will include a tour of the Kinder House, a History Center resource fair, raffle and prizes, and refreshments.

The History Center believes that teachers are treasures in the community and wants to celebrate the work that these dedicated men and women do.
