The Des Plaines History Center is proud to announce the first in our Fall 2017 “Homeschool Adventures” series! Our first activity will honor Hispanic Heritage Month. This is a time to celebrate the history and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. We will participate by creating a Cesar Chavez printmaking project. For children ages 5–12, with an adult; $3 per child or $2 with a History Center membership.
