After School Adventures: “Día de los Muertos & Papel Picado/Day of the Dead & Paper Banners”

One of the oldest traditions in Mexico is Día de los Muertos, which dates back to the Aztec period. Join us as we create papel picado (paper banners) as well as paper flowers to decorate ofrendas (altars) for the upcoming Day of the Dead celebration.

Thursday, October 6, for children, ages 5-12, with an adult

3:30-5:00pm • $3 per child for non-members, $2 for members
