“Victory Gardens”

Wednesday, May 6, 1-3 p.m.

Des Plaines History Center

Local homeschool students will learn about the purpose of victory gardens during World War II.  A hands-on social studies activity will be included. Program is designed for children, ages 5-12, with an adult and lasts for two hours. The fee is $3 per child for non-members, $2 for members.
