Kinder Hardware

July 2: The afternoon will focus on the Kinder Hardware store, which was a business in Des Plaines from 1881-2003. Participants will meet at the Kinder House and learn about small commerce and do-it-yourself projects then and now. Children will use recycled plastic, paper, and cardboard to create sculpture!
