Meet at the Des Plaines History Center at 8 a.m. and carpool to Ottawa, Illinois, to view its historic murals, the Reddick Mansion, and public parks. Ottawa is about 90 minutes from Des Plaines. This outing includes walking up to eight blocks and climbing stairs during the tour of the mansion. Pre-registration and advance payment are required.
