Kids’ Hands-On History
The Des Plaines History Center is introducing a new children’s program called “Kids’ Hands-On History.” It will take place the first Wednesday and following Sunday of each month from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Each activity will feature a historical lesson accompanied by a craft, art project, or game. “Kids Hands-On History” program is designed to invite family participation and discussion on a broad range of historical topics per the History Center’s mission. All children ages 5 to 12 and their families are invited to attend. Due to the generosity of VWF Post 2992, each Kids’ Hands-On History Program is free of charge.
